Stereo-

 Equipment for sound recording and reproduction that utilizes two or more independent channels of information

Channel 

A path for the transfer of signals or data within a computer or between a computer and its peripheral equipment

Track - 

Any of a number of separate sections in the recording on a record, CD, or cassette

Frequency 

The number of cycles or completed alternations per unit time of a wave or oscillation

Hertz 

The SI unit of frequency, equal to one cycle per second

Decibel 

A unit used to express the intensity of a sound wave, equal to 20 times the common logarithm of the ratio of the pressure produced by the sound wave to a reference pressure, usually 0.0002 microbar
