Extension 1- Video editing software

We use Windows Live Moviemaker as our video editing software at school.
There are a number of reasons for this choice:
·         It is simple and easy to use
·         It is free
·         It supports a range of common video formats

There are many other video editing software packages. You are to choose two different programs and compare them with MovieMaker. Post your comparison on your blog.
Two different softwares for video editing other than Movie Maker are-
Apple iMovie -APPLE iMovie
P- Some of the positives of Apple iMovie is that it has many advanced features and add-ons, in comparison to the Window Media Player. This provides a wider variety of options in transitions, volume control, and much more.
N-This software is only free for a person who owns a Mac System.
I-This is one of the best free video editing programs available for Mac users.
Windows Media player is more preferable in my opinion as it provides a decent software , which is both easy to operate , and free to download.
Wax-Wax
P- Wax is a high performance, flexible video editing sofware.
As it has started out as a college project, it is constructed to be easy to operate, incorporating many unique ideas. Wax is known for its easy operation system, catering for both home users and  proffesionals. It can be used as both a stand alon application or as a plug-in to other video editors. The software also features unlimited video and audio tracks with top-down compositing.
N- As Wax is not as a big corporation as Microsoft, it may not give frequent updates and improvements.
Moreover, it is not mentioned as to whether Wax is free. Wax, is not as reliable as Microsoft.

I- None.

Windows Media Player has met a match, with Wax proving to be an equal competitior , offering several advanced options.
I can not find the cost of Apple iMovie.
