Animated Gif-
The Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) is a bitmap image format that was introduced by CompuServe in 1987 and has since come into widespread usage on the World Wide Web due to its wide support and portability.
jpeg-
In computing, JPEG is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital photography (image). The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable tradeoff between storage size and image quality. JPEG typically achieves 10:1 compression with little perceptible loss in image quality.
pixel-
In digital imaging, a pixel (or picture element) is the smallest addressable screen element in raster graphics; it is the smallest unit of picture that can be controlled.
bmp-
The BMP File Format, also known as Bitmap Image File or Device Independent Bitmap (DIB) file format or simply a Bitmap, is a Raster graphics image file format used to store bitmap digital images, independently of the display device (such as a graphics adapter), especially on Microsoft Windows and OS/2 operating systems.
flip-
Turn upside down or to change as reverse
video card-A video card, video adapter, graphics accelerator card, display adapter, or graphics card is an expansion card whose function is to generate output images to a display.
crop-
Cutting a length in short.
mirror-
A duplicate or a peice of work- imagery of it.
fps (frames per second)
Frame rate, or frame frequency, is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames. The term applies equally well to computer graphics, video cameras, film cameras, and motion capture systems. Frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS), and in progressive scan monitors as hertz (Hz).
frames- A single image out of a sequence of images.
morph- To transform an image by computer.
cpu- Central Processing Unit is the portion of a computer system that carries out the instructions of a computer program, and is the primary element carrying out the computer's functions.
dpi- dots per inch.
Resolution-The number of pixels per square inch of the computer screen.
File extension-
A filename extension is a suffix to the name of a computer file applied to indicate the encoding convention (file format) of its contents.
Compression- Compressing the resolution of the image and pixels per square inch.
In computer science and information theory, data compression or source coding is the process of encoding information using fewer bits (or other information-bearing units) than an unencoded representation would use, through use of specific encoding schemes.
Frame buffer-A framebuffer is a video output device that drives a video display from a memory buffer containing a complete frame of data.
Colour Depth-In computer graphics, color depth or bit depth is the number of bits used to represent the color of a single pixel in a bitmapped image or video frame buffer. This concept is also known as bits per pixel (bpp), particularly when specified along with the number of bits used. Higher color depth gives a broader range of distinct colors.
